Zumbamba - The Company - Oklahoma has incredible talent and very disciplined artists from around the world. Creator and director of Zumbamba Shannon Calderon has brought together this eclectic company to perform works from throughout the Latin world. These award-winning artists take the audience to a different time and place, and open their eyes, ears, and hearts to discover the present. We are all created equal and we find common ground in the arts.

The Zumbamba artists have performed in such diverse venues as Opera Ole!, with Canterbury Choral Society and the OKC Philharmonic Orchestra; the San Diego Performing Arts Theatre, in Nashville, Mexico, California, Texas, Santa Fe, and as featured performers at OKC Community College's Cultural Arts Series (2005-06).
